Northeast resident Paula Cisewski had a double book launch for her third and fourth full-length poetry collections, “The Threatened Everything” and “quitter,” Saturday March 4, at The Hook and Ladder Theater and Lounge, 3010 Minnehaha Ave. Cisewski, above, read from her books and was accompanied for part of the reading by the band Pancake7. Silent auction proceeds and 20 percent of book sales were donated to the American Civil Liberties Union.
Cisewski will read Saturday, April 1, at 3 p.m., at Eat My Words Bookstore, 1228 Second St. NE, along with other poets celebrating the launch of fellow author Ashleigh Lambert’s book “The Debt or the Crisis.” Cisewski’s books are available at paulacisewski.com.
