Fantastic Sam’s hair care salon has moved to 2922 Pentagon Drive, the former tanning salon spot in the St. Anthony Shops (St. Anthony Shopping Center).
The merchants in the St. Anthony Shops center have set their date for the traditional free carriage rides; the event will be Friday, Dec. 9 from 4-8 p.m. They’re working on arrangements to make the popular event move even more smoothly and promote being able to shop and enjoy other activities while waiting for the rides.
Pints and Purrs, a cat-centric event that will include kitty krafting, a video fashion show, and kitten therapy and trivia will be held at Boom Island Brewing on Sat. Oct. 15, from 1 p.m. – 9 p.m. The event will benefit the non-profit Feline Rescue Inc., which will provide the therapy kitties. Organizers ask that you please keep pets at home, for the safety of the shelter animals. Boom Island Brewing is at 2014 Washington Ave. North; Cajun food will be available from Louisiana Purchase.
