Paul Metsa’s Album Release Show Benefits NE Seniors Food Shelf
April 21 @ 6:30 pm
The historic, original Guthrie Theater, once adjacent to the present-day Walker, was demolished in 2006 but will soon be the centerpiece of a live solo performance recorded there February 2, 1991, by author, TV/radio host and recording artist Paul Metsa. “Judas Sang the Blues,” features six songs performed that night.
The album release party will be Friday, April 21 at Pulaski Hall, 2114 5th St. NE, 7 p.m. and will feature opener and blues man, Baby Grant Johnson, and benefit the Northeast Seniors Food Shelf. A donation of $10 is suggested, $5 if you bring a nonperishable bag of groceries. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. This is a 21+ event.
